What is the Parent Teacher Committee (PTC)?
The purpose of the Sacred Heart Academy PTC is to:
- Assist the school at large in living out the liturgical year in a joyful and meaningful manner.
- Be of aide to the administration.
- Help teachers with classroom needs.
All parents are welcome to join the committee. The PTC is a sub-committee of the school board. For more information, contact Alyssa VanderHyde at email@example.com.
A few of the volunteer opportunities & events organized by the PTC:
The PTC organizes homemade, healthy lunches once a month in honor of a saint’s feast day. Additionally, once a month, a pizza lunch is available. Both lunches are reasonably priced.
Lunch Recess Monitoring:
One to two parents assist the faculty with lunch and recess monitoring daily.
The Fall Social is a family fun community building event in the month of October. We gather at a family farm in Nunica and enjoy a chili pot luck along with square dancing and fellowship!
Parent Room Coordinators:
