Students in our 1st-8th grade full-time classes are part of something unique and exceptional both locally and nationally—a Catholic classical academy.
We offer a rigorous education, centered on the Incarnation and dedicated to the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, which makes Sacred Heart Academy both a lively and effective academic institution. Student life at Sacred Heart Academy is grounded in the sacramental life of the Church. All of our 1st-8th graders begin each academic day by encountering Christ in the Eucharist. Daily Mass offers an opportunity to prepare mentally and spiritually for the work of the day. Every Tuesday our students also spend time with the parish community in Eucharistic Adoration. Regular Reconciliation during the school day provides students and staff an opportunity for self-examination and absolution.
Through our classical approach to education, we seek to give students a solid foundation and beginning to each one’s own lifelong pursuit of goodness, truth, and beauty. Through an integrated course of education, meaning that the traditional divisions between the subjects are often forgotten in the pursuit of the truth, we strive to equip students with the context, skills, knowledge, and habits of virtue to make a difference in the world. A classical education from Sacred Heart Academy sets our students up to be lifelong learners, preparing them for their own individual vocations and the universal call to sanctity.
