Faculty Bio

Miss Black was born and raised in Ada, Michigan. One of seven siblings, she was homeschooled from preschool to 12th grade. She graduated from Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in the Liberal Arts. During college, she studied for a semester in Rome, made a pilgrimage to Poland, and undertook independent research on early medieval music and on the art and writings of John Ruskin and William Morris. She is excited and blessed to be able to return to her home parish, and hopes to give back to the community some of the formation it gave to her. Teaching in 2017-2018: 5th grade FT English, science, religion, and history; 6th grade FT English; 5/6 CEC Latin I.
