Dr. Daniel Page
Daniel Page joined the Sacred Heart Academy faculty in November 2014, and teaches sacred music in the middle and upper school programs and also serving as director of sacred music at Sacred Heart Parish. He comes brimming with enthusiasm for our classical curriculum and the opportunity to teach music history, theory, and choral singing in an authentically Catholic environment. Previously, he worked as a parish music director for almost 30 years, has taught music and visual arts at the college level, and served as dean of freshmen at the University of Baltimore. His educational background includes a PhD in music history and analysis, a Master of Fine Arts degree (both from Brandeis University) and a BA in Music from Bates College. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Page was a Fulbright Scholar at the British Library and has served on the boards of local American Guild of Organists chapters, a small opera company, and a Maryland crisis pregnancy center.
