I am honored to play a small part in the life of Sacred Heart Academy as an Adjunct Teacher in the CEC program. My class on American Government reflects lessons learned over a forty-year career in the legal field. I practiced law for 14 years, successfully arguing a case before the US Supreme Court. The last 26 years of my career were spent as a judge in Federal Court. I taught Constitutional Law for two semesters at WMU-Cooley Law School. My undergraduate degree is from Michigan State University (BA, 1971), where I focused on American History, especially constitutional and legal history. I received my law degree from University of Michigan (JD, 1974).
